Traffic restrictions in and around Secretariat were ordered by the Hyderabad traffic police in connection with Telangana Formation Day on Friday. Between Telugu Thalli Junction and VV Statue-Necklace Rotary-NTR Marg, no traffic will be permitted. Traffic en route to Necklace Rotary from Khairatabad, Punjagutta, or Somajiguda will be detoured via Shadan-Nirankari.
The Khairatabad flyover will not be open to traffic heading towards Necklace Rotary from Nirankari or Chintalbasthi. Traffic coming from Iqbal Minar Junction with the intention of traveling to Tank Bund-Ranigunj and Liberty would not be permitted; instead, it will be diverted to the Telugu Thalli flyover and directed towards the Ambedkar statue and Tank Bund.
Traffic from Tank Bund and Telugu Thalli that is headed towards NTR Marg will not be permitted and will instead be detoured at Telugu Thalli Junction in the direction of Iqbal Minar Junction. Vehicles heading towards NTR Marg from BRKR Bhavan won’t be permitted, and they’ll be diverted at Telugu Thalli Junction in the direction of Iqbal Minar Junction.
