The city is in a celebratory mood as Muslims celebrate the Eid-ul-Adha, also known as Bakrid, on Thursday. The holiday is observed every year, on the tenth day of the Islamic month of Zul-Hijja. People celebrate and hold festivals to mark the occasion.
Wearing festive clothing as is customary for Eid and people got to mosques.
