Hyderabad, Dec.26 (NSS): Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has reiterated that the state government is ready to extend all support to the film industry in Telangana. Around 50 film personalities, led by Telangana Film Development Corporation (TFDC) Chairman and producer Dil Raju, met the Chief Minister
at the Police Command Control Center in Banjara Hills on Thursday and discussed the issues of the film industry. Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, Minister for Cinematography Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, DGP Jithender, and others attended the meeting. The meeting assumed significance in the wake of the stampede at Sandhya Theater and the aftermath of film actor Allu Arjun’s arrest. Speaking on the
occasion, the Chief Minister said that his main objective was to promote the film industry and assured that the State government would extend all the help to support the industry. “As the Chief Minister,
it is my responsibility to enforce the laws. I do not have any personal preferences. Let us all develop
the film industry together without confining to Telugu only,” Revanth Reddy said. Reminding
that the State government has sofar issued eight special orders for the benefit of films and the police grounds were given to Pushpa -2 film, the Chief Minister said the State government has decided to create a new brand image for the Telugu Film Industry, ensuring the industry prosper. “On the lines of IT and Pharma, the government accorded equal importance to the film industry. It has already announced the

presentation of the Gaddar film awards and appointed noted film producer Dil Raju as the FDC Chairman to coordinate with the government.
