Hyderabad, July 14 (NSS):
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has exuded confidence that the Congress party will govern
Telangana until 2034, ensuring its flag remains prominent throughout the State.
He highlighted that the State government is implementing a 42 percent reservation for Backward
Classes (BCs) in local body elections and is taking measures to empower these communities.
Revanth Reddy officially began the distribution of new ration cards at the Thirumalagiri mandal
headquarters in the Thungaturthi Assembly constituency of Suryapet district on Monday.
During a subsequent public meeting, the Chief Minister criticised the previous BRS government for not issuing a single ration card in its decade-long tenure. He expressed his anger over their failure
to consider providing even a small quantity of rice to those in need. He sarcastically said that ration
shops were not opened during the BRS regime.
