As modest inflows continue to replenish Osman Sagar and Himayat Sagar, the twin reservoirs that protect Hyderabad’s drinking water demands, their levels are steadily rising. After 700 cusecs of input, the reservoir at Osman Sagar is getting closer to its full capacity. The water level has risen to 1,787.00 feet, holding a storage of 3.221 TMC against its Full Tank Level (FTL) of 1,790.00 feet. All gates are still closed and there is not any outflow at the moment as authorities keep a tight eye on the situation.
