Amaravathi, May 26: At his camp office in Amaravati, AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu hosted a high-level review meeting on agriculture-related sectors today (Tuesday). As part of “Swarnandhra Vision 2047,” he thoroughly discussed with officials six important missions pertaining to the growth of the primary sector.
The meeting was attended by senior officials from several departments, corporation chairmen, CS Sai Prasad, and Minister Kinjarapu Atchennaidu. The performance and upcoming initiatives of the departments of agriculture, horticulture, aquaculture, marketing, and animal husbandry were all covered by CM Chandrababu.
The distribution of seeds to farmers, crop planning, irrigation water availability, and the state’s present rainfall conditions as a result of El Nino all received particular attention from the chief minister. He gave the officials instructions to take precautions to avoid any problems for the farmers. In a similar vein, the meeting also covered the use of technology in agriculture, productivity growth, marketing facility expansion, and export prospects. The government is preparing a comprehensive plan to raise farmers’ incomes, officials disclosed. In keeping with the objectives of Swarnandhra Vision 2047, Chief Minister Chandrababu proposed bolstering the agriculture-related industries to further improve the rural economy.
