Farmers should be made aware of the drought : CM Revanth Reddy

Hyderabad, June 1: A review was held at the Secretariat under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy on the preparedness for the monsoon season. Meteorological Department officials gave a power point presentation on the rainfall due to the southwest monsoon, the impact of El Nino and other issues. The CM advised the officials to create awareness among the farmers about the drought conditions. He wanted to explain to the farmers about the crops that use less water. The CM ordered that the importance of crop rotation be conveyed to the food grains.
