Hyderabad : Police have arrested YSRCP leader and former MLA Bolla Brahmanaidu, the main accused in the Gandipet government land grabbing conspiracy case in the city. He was detained by the police in Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu on Friday. Later, he was brought to Hyderabad. The accused will be produced in court by the police. Bolla Brahmanaidu was arrested in an operation jointly conducted by Narsinghi police and Cyberabad EOW. Cyberabad police issued a statement to this effect. Police said that investigation is ongoing into the role of other conspirators in this case, including preparation of forged documents, financial transactions, misuse of signatures.

Brahma Naidu conspired to grab government land worth about 10 acres in Survey No. 18 in Gandipet, Hyderabad. For this, fake JVOs, false revenue records and fake government documents were created. Tahsildar Narsingh, who came to know about this, filed a complaint with the police. A case was registered at Narsingh Police Station as Crime No. 990/2026. The police have arrested Radhakrishna and driver Praveen Kumar, who are already accused in this case.
