Tirupati : Jana Sena President and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan said that the people are the final judges in a democracy. He said that the verdict given by the people in the 2024 elections is a historic decision that has shown a new direction for the future of the state. Speaking on the occasion of the completion of two years of the coalition government, Pawan Kalyan said that the people handed over not only power but also responsibility two years ago. He said that the NDA partner parties are working together to fulfill that responsibility. Pawan said that the joint efforts of the NDA partner parties have borne fruit in blocking the privatization of the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant. He said that decisions are being taken in accordance with the aspirations of the people in coordination with the Center in matters of state interests. He said that the public verdict has given confidence to the future of a generation and that the coalition government is working committedly for the development of the state, the future of the youth and employment opportunities. He said that the 2024 elections have once again proven that even if the people are silent, they can change history with their verdict at the right time. Pawan Kalyan believes that the 2024 elections are the result of democracy’s victory over arrogance and destructive politics. He made it clear that the goal of the coalition government is to work together for the development of the state by sharing responsibility, not for sharing power.

Solving problems locally: On this occasion, Pawan Kalyan made key comments on village self-government, strengthening local bodies and democratic decentralization. He said that the Jana Sena Party was criticized for being limited to only 21 seats, and that the political sacrifices they made that day for the interests of the state were the foundation of the coalition’s victory. Stating that the village is the focal point of the country’s development, Pawan said that decisions that affect the future of everyone from children to adults should be made at the village panchayat level. He said that the problems that need to be solved in the village need to be solved locally, without going to the mandal, district or MLA level. He said that currently every small problem is going to the MLAs, and it is not right to weaken the powers of hundreds of local public representatives in the state and center the entire system around the MLAs. He warned that if institutions weaken, caste and regional sentiments will strengthen.
