Hyderabad :Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy met with the Telangana Builders Association. Speaking on the occasion, the minister said that the Telangana Builders Association has been invited for discussions and has been asked to cancel the Chalo Hyderabad program. He criticized the previous government for having arrears of Rs. 4,000 crore in R&B and not paying bills for the work done by the contractors. They are boasting that they have built Yadagirigutta, but they have also paid arrears of Rs. 350 crore for the Yadagirigutta bills.The minister said that the Telangana Builders Association had called Chalo Hyderabad on the 18th of this month for the bills. They assured that they would talk to the CM and pay the arrears. When they asked to cancel the Chalo Hyderabad program, they said that they would discuss it till this evening and take a decision. He was angry that former ministers KTR and Harish Rao were making false criticisms of them for news in the newspapers. He said that they think that if they put them on a hot plate, they will get burnt. Minister Komitireddy Venkat Reddy commented, “How much did we award the contracts? If we see, Harish Rao will admit that he made a mistake.”
