Minister Narayana Visits Malaysia To Study Solid Waste Management Systems For Ap Urban Development

Amaravati : Municipal and Urban Development Minister Narayana arrived in Malaysia on a two-day visit to study the effective management of solid waste in the state. He was welcomed by officials at the Indian High Commission office in Kuala Lumpur. On this occasion, Ganapathi Rao, Member of Parliament for Klang in Malaysia, and Minister Papparayudu, paid a courtesy call on Minister Narayana and discussed various issues. Later, the Minister launched a study on modern policies being implemented in the field of solid waste management in Malaysia. Narayana was given a presentation by officials at the KDEB Waste Management Company office in Selangor. In the afternoon, he visited several waste management centers. He was accompanied by Chief Secretary Suresh Kumar and others.
