AP will become India’s Steel HUB : CM Chandrababu Naidu

Kadapa : Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has made it clear that his government’s goal is to make Andhra Pradesh a new industrial hub, especially a ‘steel state’. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has inaugurated the construction work of the prestigious JSW Rayalaseema Steel Plant to be built at a cost of Rs. 16,350 crore in Sunnapurallapalle, Jammalamadugu mandal, Kadapa district. Speaking on the occasion, he announced that the first green steel production plant in the country is being set up in the state. He assured that not only Visakhapatnam, but also the Rayalaseema region will be transformed into ‘Ukkuseema’. He said that in the past, some people had looted and smuggled iron ore in the name of steel plants. He said that more than Rs. 4 lakh crore of investments were brought to the Rayalaseema region during the coalition government. He also assured that industries would be established locally and employment would be provided to the youth here. He said that the appearance of the region had changed due to the bringing of the Kia industry in Anantapur district in the past. He reminded that 19 lakh cars have been manufactured there so far. He urged people to remember history for once, to see who caused the damage to Rayalaseema and during whose rule the good things happened. CM Chandrababu said, “We have ended the factional culture that once existed in Rayalaseema, and what is needed in the region is not blood but irrigation water. Even though factionalism is gone, it is unfortunate that those who commit crimes are entering politics. What can a person whose agenda is destruction do to the state? In 2014, everyone unanimously accepted Amaravati as the capital, but after coming to power, they made fun of it as three capitals. They are talking like a madman about Mavigan and Vijayawada. It is a situation where we do not know what else they will say tomorrow. If anyone comes to the girls, that will be their last day. The YSR Congress Party is standing by the rowdy mobs and ganja batches in the state. We will put an iron fist on such anti-social forces,” the CM said.
