Anakapalli : On the occasion of the birth anniversary of freedom fighter and hero of the country, Alluri Seetharamaraju, Home Minister Anitha garlanded the statue of Alluri at the Nakkapalli MPDO office and paid tribute. Later, saplings were planted in the premises of the Mandal Praja Parishad office. Speaking on the occasion, the Home Minister said that Alluri Seetharamaraju was a warrior and hero who fought for the country’s independence. She praised Manyam Veerudu as a revolutionary light who fought for the rights of the people and sacrificed his life at the young age of 27. The Home Minister said that Alluri’s patriotism and courage are an example for the youth and Alluri’s birth anniversary is being celebrated as a state festival on the orders of CM Chandrababu. She said that his sacrifice will remain in the hearts of the people as long as the Telugu nation exists. Home Minister Anitha praised Alluri Seetharamaraju as a symbol of bravery and courage.
