Amaravati : The Andhra Pradesh government has decided to increase the mess charges of hostels and Gurukuls. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu held a review meeting with the ministers of welfare departments at the Secretariat on Wednesday. In this order, the CM gave directions on several key issues. The CM stated that a decision has been taken to increase the charges being given by 10 percent. The Chief Minister has given the green signal for the sanction of Rs. 500 crore for the permanent buildings of MJP schools. CM Chandrababu has ordered to provide all kinds of basic facilities in hostels and Gurukuls. Minister Savita is happy about the increase in mess charges: Minister Savita expressed her happiness over the increase in mess charges. She thanked CM Chandrababu on this occasion. She said that with the increase in mess charges, more quality nutritious food can be provided to the students. Minister Savita stated that they are providing facilities like their own homes to the students in BC hostels and Gurukuls.
