AP Minister Nara Lokesh’s visit to South Korea continues. Discussions are being held with Korean companies on investments in AP. APEX-Korea Investor Assistance Center has been opened in Busan. Lokesh inaugurated the APEX-Korea center under the auspices of APEDB. APEX-Korea will serve as a connecting platform between Korean companies and the AP government. It will provide full support to Korean companies interested in investing in AP. APEX-Korea will provide services to Korean companies already in AP. APEX-Korea was established with the aim of attracting investments and expanding industries. On this occasion, Minister Lokesh met with industrialists in Busan. He explained the investment opportunities in AP to Korean companies. The minister met with high-level representatives of BNK Financial Group. He invited them to set up a BNK Financial branch in Amaravati. He appealed to provide infrastructure finance to Amaravati and industrial parks. Investments were invited in the electronics, semiconductors and shipbuilding sectors. Korean companies were called upon to choose AP as an investment and production hub. The minister invited BNK to participate in RTIH to support startups and MSMEs. BNK representatives said that they will examine the AP government’s proposals and take a decision. BNK Financial Group has a consolidated asset value of Rs. 9.64 lakh crore. The group operates through three banks and several financial institutions. BNK Group has 398 branches in Korea and 75 outlets abroad.
