AP signs NCCF Mou to launch 1000 Mee Marts across the state

Amaravati : The AP government has taken another step forward to provide quality essential commodities to the people at affordable prices. The AP Civil Supplies Department has signed a key Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Cooperative Consumer Federation (NCCF) of the central government. Civil Supplies Commissioner Kannababu IAS and NCCF Managing Director Anees Joseph signed the agreement in Delhi. According to this agreement, a total of 1,000 ‘Me Marts’ will be set up across the state. In the first phase, these services will be started in Palnadu, Guntur, NTR and Krishna districts. ‘Mee Marts’ services will be made available through ration shops. 70 types of quality consumer goods will be sold at competitive prices in these marts. Officials said that the main objective of this program is to provide quality commodities to the people at affordable prices. Consumers will benefit more by setting up 1,000 ‘Mee Marts’ across the state.
