Minister Anam Ramanarayana Reddy visited the Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy Temple in Vijayawada. Upon reaching the temple, Minister Anam was given a grand welcome by the EO, temple chairman, officials and priests with temple etiquette. Then he visited the goddess and performed special pujas. After the darshan, the minister received the blessings of Vedic scholars and the Tirtha prasadam. Later, he inspected the ongoing development work in the temple at the field level. A review was held with the officials on the arrangements for the Dussehra Sharannavaratri celebrations. He instructed the officials to work in coordination so that the devotees do not face any inconvenience. The minister suggested that special focus be placed on queues, drinking water, sanitation, medical services and security arrangements. He instructed that a plan be prepared so that the darshan of ordinary devotees along with VIP darshans also continues smoothly. He suggested that traffic management, parking, shuttle services and emergency services be prepared in advance. He said that cleanliness in the temple surroundings should be given top priority. He clarified that the temple master plan work should be expedited and completed within the stipulated time. The Minister gave clear instructions to the officials not to compromise on the quality of development work. He stated that the main objective of the government is to provide better facilities to the devotees. He directed the officials to organize the Dussehra celebrations in a grand manner befitting the prestige of the state. The government is committed to the development of temples and the welfare of the devotees, Minister Anam Ramanarayana Reddy clarified.
