Hydra Commissioner Ranganath approaches Telangana High Court

Hyderabad : Hydra Commissioner Ranganath has approached the Telangana High Court. He has gone to appeal in the Shantha Sriram Construction case. He has challenged the previous single bench verdict to appoint another officer instead of Ranganath. What has happened so far? Shantha Sriram Construction Private Limited has approached the High Court against the demolition of Hydra on 40 acres of land in Survey No. 1, 2, Lotkunta village, Malkajgiri mandal, Medchal, Malkajgiri district. On the 17th of last month, it was decided to take up the demolition work.

Justice Jukanti Anil Kumar took up the matter and directed the Chief Secretary of the state government to remove Ranganath from the post of Hydra Commissioner and appoint someone else in his place. He said that an officer who blatantly defies the court’s orders and repeatedly violates them is in danger of endangering the rule of law. He commented that such a person should not continue in that post.
