Fishermen safety is important to us: Minister Atchannaidu

Amaravati : The Meteorological Department has revealed that there is a possibility of heavy rains in the state due to the effect of a low pressure formed in the Bay of Bengal. In this context, AP Agriculture Minister Atchannaidu responded on the spot and gave instructions to fishermen. ‘In the wake of the low pressure formed in the Bay of Bengal, all fishing brothers should be alert. In view of the warnings of the Meteorological Department, no one should go hunting in the sea. I appeal to those who have already gone hunting to immediately reach safe areas and the coast,’ said Minister Atchannaidu. Minister Atchannaidu instructed the officials to take precautionary measures to prevent any untoward incidents in the wake of heavy rains. He advised the officials to continuously monitor the situation in the coastal areas and to communicate weather forecasts to the fishermen from time to time. He wanted all fishermen to follow the instructions of the officials.
