Minister Atchannaidu is first in file clearance: CM Chandrababu

Amaravati : Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu announced that Agriculture Minister K. Atchannaidu is at the top of the list when it comes to file clearance. He revealed this at the district collectors’ meeting being held at the Velagapudi Secretariat on Friday, the second day of the meeting. He said that Transport Minister M. Ramprasad Reddy is at the bottom of the list. Ministers M. Ramprasad Reddy, Kollu Ravindra and Payyavula Keshav are reportedly taking too much time to clear files. CM Chandrababu said that Home Minister Vangalapudi Anitha also needs to improve her performance. On this occasion, he advised some ministers to improve their performance.

CM Chandrababu also explained how many days government secretaries, heads of various departments (HODs) and district collectors take to clear files. On this occasion, Chandrababu expressed his displeasure over officials who are taking too much time to clear files. He expressed concern that while many secretaries are clearing files within two days, some HODs are taking three days. At the meeting, CM Chandrababu directed Chief Secretary Sai Prasad to explain why it is taking so long to clear files.
