Vijayawada Utsav-2026 curtain raiser program in grand style..

Amaravati: The Andhra Pradesh government will organize the Vijayawada Utsav-2026 program with grandeur. The celebrations will be organized from October 11 to 20 under the auspices of the AP Tourism Department. To this end, the Vijayawada Utsav-2026 curtain raiser program was organized today (Monday) at the Ambedkar Kala Vedika in the city. Ministers Satyakumar Yadav, Kandula Durgesh, MP Keshineni Shivnath, MLAs Bonda Uma, Gadde Rammohan, and Venigandla Ramu participated in the program. Also present were Swachhandra Corporation Chairman Kommareddy Pattabhiram, MLC Varla Ramaiah, chairmen of various corporations, Joint Collector Ilakkia, and Municipal Commissioner Dhyan Chandra.

On this occasion, AP Health Minister Satyakumar Yadav said, “Vijayawada has a historical background and a rich heritage. This city is a symbol of arts and politics. I thank MP Kesineni Shivnath and the members of the society for organizing the Vijayawada Utsav by combining all these. This is not just a cultural program. It is a program that strengthens small traders financially. Our Telugu people are participating wherever they go. Along with the Dussehra festival held in Vijayawada, everyone is expected to participate in the Vijayawada Utsav. Wealth is created through such programs. Income sources increase due to the development of tourist areas. This program brings happiness to everyone with spirituality, culture, and harmony. The programs organized through Vijayawada Utsav entertain and bring joy to people.” Tourism and Culture Minister Kandula Durgesh said that the credit for turning the Krishna coast into a cultural coast belongs to MP Kesineni Shivnath. He said that plans have been made to organize the Vijayawada Utsav on a grand scale this year. He said that he is happy that the AP Tourism Department is a partner in organizing these festivals. He praised the vibrant organization of Vijayawada Utsav last year. He expressed hope that this year too, this festival will be even grander. He said that economic development and the talent of artists will be revealed in these festivals. He said that such festivals will increase the income of small traders and provide regular income to auto drivers.

The minister said that CM Chandrababu and Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan have suggested that some festival should be held in every corner of the state every year. On this occasion, Minister Durgesh called on everyone to participate in the Dussehra festivals to be held from October 11 to 20 and the Vijayawada Utsav. Meanwhile, as part of Vijayawada Utsav-2026, various programs will be organized at Poonami Ghat, MBK Stadium, and Ferry Ghat.
