Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh IT and Education Minister Nara Lokesh held a public darbar at the Telugu Desam Party central office in Mangalagiri. On this occasion, a large number of people, employees and TDP workers attended and raised their problems. Lokesh patiently listened to the problems of those who came from different areas. After receiving the petitions, he personally examined them. He assured the petitioners that he would work to resolve the respective problems.

On this occasion, various issues related to employment, education, welfare and rural infrastructure came to the attention of Minister Lokesh in the public meeting. Representatives of the Welfare and Education Employees Association appealed to provide promotion opportunities to welfare and education assistants. They requested that a promotion channel be set up for those working in the education department. Similarly, representatives of the Banjara Dharma Raksha Samiti requested that an honorarium of Rs. 15,000 be provided to the priests of the temples in Banjara Thandals be provided. They appealed to implement the Dhupa, Deepa and Naivedya scheme. Many demanded that the honorarium be increased along with providing job security to the Gopalamitras. They submitted petitions to Minister Lokesh to resolve their problems.

On the other hand, villagers demanded that CC roads be constructed in Kachipalle village of Chittoor district and a BT road be constructed to the crematorium. They appealed to take steps for the development of infrastructure. Lokesh, who examined every petition received from the public, assured that he would speak to the relevant authorities on the issues and take steps to resolve them. He clarified that the aim of the Praja Darbar is to directly identify public problems and provide solutions to them, and that he would work to take action on the petitions as soon as possible.
