CEC Gyanesh Kumar should resign: Congress MP Mallu Ravi

Delhi : Congress MP Mallu Ravi has demanded the resignation of CEC Gyanesh Kumar. Speaking to the media today (Friday), he criticized the Centre for using the police to control the India Alliance MPs who are protesting against the EC. He accused the police of physically assaulting senior AICC leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi. He said that a meeting of India Alliance MPs will be held in Parliament today at 3 pm.

The MP said that future action will be taken in this meeting. He commented that Gyanesh Kumar, who did the wrong, Modi, and Amit Shah, who made the wrong happen, deserve punishment. He was angry that 7,000 forces were brought to Delhi from Chhattisgarh to suppress the protests. He expressed anger that the CJP had canceled the transport system when it said it would hold a democratic dharna. MP Mallu Ravi commented that the BJP government is trying to prevent anyone from protesting.
