Minister Ponguleti’s key announcement on housing plots for journalists

Hyderabad : Telangana Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy made a key announcement today (Saturday) on housing for journalists. He said that the dream of journalists to own their own homes will be realized and that an action plan is being prepared to provide them with housing. He clarified that the land will be allotted without any legal complications. He said that housing will be provided in a habitable area. He said that journalists need not worry and that a permanent solution will be found to the housing problem.

Minister Ponguleti said that he had discussed the matter with CM Revanth Reddy several times. He said that he was reviewing the issue of the journalists’ housing society. He mentioned that the process of allocating land had been stalled in the past due to legal complications. He said that orders were issued for the allotment of land to the journalists’ housing society in 2008. He revealed that the process of allocating land had been stalled due to a petition filed in the Supreme Court. He said that the legal obstacles were removed in 2022. Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy stated that the land was handed over to the journalists’ housing society on September 8, 2024.
