Free AI, cloud training for one lakh students in Telangana: Minister Sridhar Babu

Hyderabad : Minister Sridhar Babu said that one lakh students in Telangana will be provided free Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Cloud Computing training. He said that this training will be undertaken under the auspices of the Task in collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS) as part of the ‘Telangana AI and Cloud Skilling Initiative’. He revealed that there will be no financial burden on the government, colleges and students.. Training will be provided in 643 Task affiliated colleges in the state.

The minister said that students will be trained in AI, data engineering, machine learning, and generative AI. He said that special courses will be available for engineering students as well as arts and commerce students. Thus, students will have the opportunity to use more than 900 digital courses for free for a year. He said that discount vouchers will be provided to students appearing for global certification exams. He said that hackathons and industry connect sessions will be organized for students. He said that special job fairs will be organized for those who have completed the training. He said that world-class AI and cloud training will also be provided to college faculty. Minister Sridhar Babu said that the goal is to provide international-level technical skills to one lakh youth.
