My future depends on students: Minister Lokesh

Polavaram : Nara Lokesh, the minister of education and information technology for Andhra Pradesh, has declared that he will restore the grandeur of government schools. He said that this was what he had promised Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. On Friday, Minister Lokesh traveled to Rampachodavaram in the Polavaram district. This time, Lokesh addressed pupils and their parents in person at a government junior college and high school. He expressed his belief in the tribal people’s struggles in the Rampachodavaram region.

Minister Lokesh said that where there is love, service and sacrifice, God is there. He advised children to respect their parents and teachers. He mentioned that they have put up a paper ad with photos of students who have achieved the best results in class 10 and intermediate. He said that Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu will reprimand him if the students do not study well. He jokingly commented that his future depends on the students. He called for change to start from our homes. We will fill three thousand posts through DSC: The minister emphasized that they have set a goal to bring changes in government schools. He clarified that three thousand teacher posts will be filled through DSC this year. He advised students to stay away from drugs. He said that 10,000 students have joined government schools from private schools. He said that they have taken steps to put the misguided education system in order. Minister Nara Lokesh said that permanent buildings will be constructed for 200 government schools in tribal areas.
