Amaravati : Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu congratulated weightlifter Ajay Babu for winning a silver medal in the Commonwealth Games being held in Glasgow. Responding on social media, he said that Valluri Ajay Babu won a silver medal in the men’s 79 kg weightlifting category at the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games and praised him for successfully continuing the sports legacy by following in the footsteps of his father Srinivasa Rao. He said that this success achieved by Ajay is a matter of pride for AP as well as the whole of India. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu aspired to take India’s sporting glory to greater heights on international platforms.
