AP Govt. Good news for farmers and Kharif crop insurance period extended

Amaravati : Andhra Pradesh Government has given good news to farmers. It has announced that the insurance period for Kharif crops is being extended. It has clarified that the insurance registration period for Kharif crops has been extended by another 15 days. It has been revealed that the deadline that was supposed to end on July 31 has been given another 15 days. The AP government has clarified that it is providing insurance protection for crop losses due to natural disasters, floods and lack of rain. The AP government has explained that it is providing crop insurance facility to farmers at a premium of Rs. 1. It has advised farmers who have not registered yet to register for insurance immediately. It has appealed to register for insurance for every acre cultivated. The AP government has stated that registration can be done through banks, CSC centers, farmer service centers and NCIP mobile apps.
