The Governor of Hyderabad, Tamilisai Soundararajan, hoisted the national flag at the 74th Re-Public Day celebration, organized at Raj Bhavan by the state government here on Thursday. The events were held with ceremonial splendor, joy, and nationalistic zeal that is appropriate for the police personnel leading the parade. The Re-Public Day address was given by the Governor. She claimed that in crafting the Constitution with an eye on the growth of the country, Dr. BR Amebdkar and other architects demonstrated great dedication.

At the war memorial at the parade grounds in Secunderabad, the governor had earlier paid respects to the martyrs.
