Eluru : Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu commented that our products should be an example for the world. He said that the future is all about startups and innovations. Vice President CP Radhakrishnan and CM Chandrababu visited Katrenipadu in Eluru district today (Monday). CM Chandrababu unveiled popcorn seed along with the Vice President. The country’s first non-GMO popcorn hybrid seed will be implemented. Popcorn maize seed was unveiled in Musunur. CM Chandrababu spoke on the occasion. He said that achieving success in a short period of time is a great thing. He explained that this plant, with a capacity of 29 tons, is the largest popcorn processing center in Asia. He wished for the interlinking of Godavari and Cauvery rivers. He praised Vice President CP Radhakrishnan as the person who wants rivers to be interlinked in the country. He said that the Vice President wants the Godavari and Cauvery rivers to be linked. He said that if the Godavari, Krishna, Tungabhadra, Penna and Cauvery rivers are linked, the problems of the four states will be solved.

CM Chandrababu said that he is happy to launch the first non-GMO hybrid corn seed in the country. He congratulated the Gourmet Popcorn Company for launching the domestic seed. He emphasized that his government’s goal is to take it to the industrial level. He revealed that we are exporting ten percent of aqua products to the world. He explained that if it is increased to 50 percent, employment will be created and income will increase. The CM commented that his goal is to make an entrepreneur from every family. He said that a project with one lakh crore rupees will be launched in Rayalaseema next December. It was revealed that water is being released this month through the Veligonda project, which was started three decades ago.
