During the Jagan regime, the residents of Veligonda were cheated and deceived: Minister Nimmala

Markapuram : AP Minister Nimmala Ramanaidu expressed his anger at YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. He accused the Veligonda project residents of the project of being blatantly cheated and deceived during the five years of YSRCP rule. He questioned why the residents were not given a single rupee in five years, even though Rs. 900 crore was to be given. He revealed that Rs. 768 crore was given to the Veligonda project residents within 40 days after the coalition government came to power. Minister Nimmala inspected the work of installing regulator gates to be started by Chief Minister Chandrababu in the Veligonda project feeder canal. On the 31st of this month, CM Chandrababu directed the officials on the arrangements for the ghat, stupa and assembly hall at Veligonda. Minister Nimmala promised that his government would support the displaced people in every way in the future. He said that Chandrababu Naidu had instructed them to look into every grievance and provide justice to everyone who is eligible. Chandrababu Naidu said that he was supporting the displaced people then and now. Minister Nimmala Ramanaidu said that the officials and leaders would support the displaced families until they build their own houses and move in.
