We are making Hyderabad a knowledge hub: CM Revanth Reddy

Hyderabad, September 16 (Andhra Jyoti): Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has commented that Hyderabad is being developed not only as a tourist destination but also as a knowledge hub. The CM said that Harvard, Oxford University, MIT and London School of Business have already agreed to set up their offshore campuses in Hyderabad. He said that plans have been prepared to develop India’s Future City as a net zero city. Today (Wednesday), Augustine Lee, Permanent Secretary, Energy Trade Division, Ministry of Trade and Industry of Singapore, met CM Revanth Reddy in the Assembly. They discussed several key issues with the CM in this meeting.

Musi revitalization from the confluence of Musa and Isa rivers to Gandhi Sarovar : Singapore representatives said that they are ready to set up a semiconductor industry in Telangana. The CM explained the issues of Musi revitalization and Futures City development to the Singapore representatives. He explained that in the first phase, Musi revitalization will be undertaken from the confluence of Musa and Isa rivers to Gandhi Sarovar. The Chief Minister said that plans have been prepared to increase revenue at night (night economy) along with riverfront development. CM Revanth Reddy asked the Singapore representatives to invest in the state and provide financial support for the development of the state.

We will provide all kinds of support for investments..: Chief Minister Revanth Reddy made it clear that his government will provide all kinds of support for investments in the state. The Singapore representatives responded positively to the investments. On this occasion, the Chief Minister invited the Singapore representatives to the Telangana Global Summit to be held in Future City in December. Telangana Government Advisor Ramakrishna Rao, Senior Director of South Asia Dr. Francis Chong, Consul – General William Chick and other Singapore representatives participated in this meeting.
