Isha Singh wins silver medal at Asian Games.. CM Revanth Reddy congratulates her

Hyderabad : Indian shooter Esha Singh won a silver medal at the 2026 Asian Games being held in Japan. Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy congratulated her on the achievement. The Chief Minister expressed his happiness over Esha Singh, the star Indian shooter and proud daughter of Telangana from Hyderabad, winning the silver medal in the women’s individual 25m pistol event at the Asian Games. He praised her outstanding performance, stating that although she narrowly missed out on the gold medal, she courageously handled the pressure through five shoot-offs. He said Esha Singh’s fighting spirit is an inspiration to the sporting world.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy wished her many more remarkable victories on international platforms in the future and expressed hope that she would continue to bring pride to the country and glory to Telangana. In the final held at the Asian Games today (Monday), Esha Singh lost to Chinese shooter Xiao in the tie-breaker. Esha fought until the very end for the gold medal, but lost 2–3 in the tie-breaker and had to settle for the silver medal. Esha Singh faced a total of six shoot-offs in the final. Four of them were for the silver and bronze medals, while the remaining two were for the gold. However, Esha narrowly missed out on the gold by just one shot and ultimately secured the silver medal.
