I am not sad about losing my ministerial post.. Konda Surekha’s key comments

Warangal : MLA Konda Surekha said she was not disappointed over losing her ministerial position. She said that serving as a minister would have given her an opportunity to serve people at the state level. Konda Surekha distributed Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) cheques to beneficiaries at her camp office in Warangal district on Tuesday. Speaking on the occasion, she said her focus remained on serving the people and addressing their needs. She also interacted with the beneficiaries who received financial assistance under the CMRF. Konda Surekha said she now had an opportunity to focus on the development of the Warangal Assembly constituency. She stated that she would remain accessible in the constituency and work towards resolving people’s problems.

She said winning a larger number of seats in the upcoming Warangal Municipal Corporation elections would be the party’s goal. Surekha also warned that she would not tolerate any attacks or harassment against her supporters. Referring to a recent incident near MGM Hospital, she alleged that BRS leaders had behaved excessively. She claimed that the leaders had pushed each other and later alleged that they were assaulted by the police before being admitted to the hospital. Surekha also criticised BJP leaders for staging a protest near the new Collectorate and alleged that they were making statements without proper understanding of the issues. Challenging BJP leaders over the development of Warangal, she called for the development of the city’s historical sites. She challenged them to bring funds from the Centre and then speak about the development of Warangal.
