MLA Mallareddy’s agitation against Medchal Jawaharnagar dumping yard.. ready for fast unto death

Hyderabad : MLA Chamakura Mallareddy got emotional over the situation at the Jawahar Nagar dumping yard in Medchal Malkajgiri constituency. Mallareddy revealed that he will soon embark on a hunger strike against the dumping yard. ‘Jawahar Nagar is in my constituency. It is my heart. The latest survey released by the American University on Jawahar Nagar is worrying. Jawahar Nagar is ranked 4th among the areas with the highest methane emissions in the world. Two people die in this area every day under suspicious circumstances. The cause of their death is unknown. Malkajgiri MP Etala Rajender has put pressure on the Center regarding the situation in the Jawahar Nagar area and the dump yard there should be moved immediately. While an agreement was signed with the Ramki company in 2006 for the management of the dumping yard, the company has left the management of the dumping yard to the wind and turned the area into a vicious circle,’ MLA Mallareddy said.
