Flood threat to Gundlakamma and Rallapadu reservoirs!.. Minister Nimmala’s key instructions

Amaravati : In the wake of the floods in the state, Water Resources Development Minister Nimmala Ramanaidu held a teleconference with top officials. Appropriate instructions were given in this regard. The minister said that there is a possibility of heavy rains in the Sagar catchment area. In this context, there is a possibility of flooding in the Gundlakamma and Rallapadu reservoirs. To this extent, Minister Nimmala ordered the officials of the joint Guntur, Prakasam and Nellore districts to be alert. He advised to observe the water flows in the reservoirs from time to time. The minister advised to take strict measures in coordination with other departments.
