Hyderabad, Sept 3 (NSS): Hyderabad Police Commissioner CV Anand today said that tight security
arrangements were being made for the Ganesh idol immersion to be held on Saturday (6th)
as part of Vinayaka Navratri celebrations. On Wednesday, CV Anand along with GHMC Commissioner
RV Karnan, Rachakonda CP Sudheer Babu, Additional CP Vikram Singh Mann, Hydra Commissioner
AV Ranganath, Hyderabad Traffic Joint CP Joel David, Hyderabad Collector Harichandana Dasari, have
jointly inspected the route map of Balapur Ganesh immersion procession at the field level.
They inspected the procession routes of Balapur, Charminar Circle, Mozamjahi Market and Telugu Thalli Flyover which are key points on the procession route, and made several suggestions based on the vehicles carrying the idols and their height.
