New Delhi : The Union Minister of State for Health and Communications Pemmasani Chandrasekhar has announced that the Center has given big good news to Andhra Pradesh’s capital Amaravati. The Union Council of Ministers met in New Delhi under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Modi on Wednesday. In this meeting, approval was given to the construction of the Central Secretariat project in the capital Amaravati. In this context, Union Minister Pemmasani Chandrasekhar responded. He explained that the Central Secretariat project worth Rs. 2,500 crore has been approved in Amaravati. He said that an office complex with an area of 23 lakh square feet will be constructed in five acres.

He explained that government offices will be set up in two huge towers. He also said that this modern office complex will be built with parking facilities for 1,800 cars. He said that a residential complex will be built on 17 acres with Rs. 1,234 crore. He said that 1,568 residential quarters will be constructed in 11 towers. The Union Minister expressed happiness that a gated community with green energy, community halls and modern facilities will be established.

He said that if this proposal is made in 2018, it will move forward rapidly after 2024. He said that this project has been approved with the cooperation of the Union Urban Development Ministry and the Finance Ministry. Union Minister Pemmasani Chandrasekhar clarified that this project has been possible with the cooperation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu.
