False propaganda on Amaravati constructions should be avoided: Minister Narayana

Amaravati :Minister Narayana has given a strong counter to YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on the construction of AP capital Amaravati. He clarified that the construction cost of Amaravati Happy Nest houses is less than the central projects. He explained that the construction cost of Happy Nest houses is only Rs. 3,393 per square foot. The minister visited Amaravati today (Saturday). False propaganda should be avoided: Minister Narayana explained that the cost of central residential complexes is Rs. 3,945 per square foot. He said that while a tender was floated for the residences of gazetted officials at Rs. 1003 crore, only Rs. 3,684 per square foot is being spent. The Central Government Residential Complex was tendered for Rs. 1234 crore, but it was said that Rs. 3,945 per square foot was being spent. As part of the capital development, 43 bridges over streams and another 26 bridges in LPS layouts are under construction under the auspices of CRDA.
