New Delhi : Union Civil Aviation Minister Rammohan Naidu was met by Ministers Tummala Nageswara Rao and Uttam Kumar Reddy. Minister Tummala appealed to the Union Minister to undertake the construction of a greenfield airport at Kothagudem in Bhadradri Kothagudem district. He appealed on behalf of the state government to take initiative in establishing a greenfield airport. Responding immediately to the proposal made by the state government for the construction of a greenfield airport at Kothagudem, Minister Tummala thanked Rammohan Naidu for conducting a feasibility survey on behalf of Civil Aviation for the construction of the airport. However, he said that since the proposed site in the feasibility survey was not suitable for the construction of the airport, another site was proposed on behalf of the state government. Tummala appealed to the Union Minister to conduct a feasibility survey there quickly and take initiative in the construction of a greenfield airport. On this occasion, Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao told the Union Minister that the Bhadrachalam Ram Temple, known as the Ayodhya of the South in Bhadradri Kothagudem district, is very famous not only in the country but also in the world.
