Bhadradri Kothagudem :Telangana Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao has instructed the concerned officials to be alert to prevent public loss and crop damage due to the Godavari floods. He said that the district administration has been prepared for floods in the Godavari catchment area of Bhadrachalam and Pinapaka constituencies. A district-level review meeting was held on Saturday at the Kothagudem District Collector’s office on the advance planning in the wake of the Godavari floods. Minister Tummala directed the district officials on several key issues. MLAs Tellam Venkat Rao, Payam Venkateswarlu, District Collector Ankit, District SP Rohit Raj, ITDAPO Rahul, Mayor Mood Ganesh and officials of government departments attended the review. Minister Tummala spoke on the occasion. He directed the officials of all government departments to coordinate, taking into account the experiences of past floods. He suggested that villages where roads are blocked due to floods should be identified. Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao has ordered that there should be an action plan for the transportation of emergency medical services and essential goods without any obstacles.
