Hyderabad, Jan 9 (IANS): The state government has set January 31 as the deadline for the completion of development works at Medaram in Mulugu district for the ensuing Sammakka-Saralamma Jatara. Ministers Konda Surekha, Seethakka, Ponnam Prabhakar, and Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, along with Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari, held a review meeting with officials concerned over the arrangements for the tribal festival at MCRHRD here on Tuesday. The ministers said the state government had sanctioned Rs. 75 crore for the development works of the Medaram Jatara and ordered the officials that all the works should be completed by January 31. Minister Ponnam Prabhakar said that all arrangements should be in place to ensure that the visitors do not face any inconvenience.
