AP IS BACK AS MOST PREFERRED INVESTMENT DESTINATION : CM CHANDRABABU NAIDU

Amaravati : Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu criticized the fragmentation of systems in AP between 2019-2024. He said that the state was destroyed in those five years. Speaking at a meeting of ministers, secretaries and HODs on Tuesday, the CM said… We have worked together for the past two years… We have given meaning to welfare, development and good governance. He praised the government machinery for implementing the government’s ideas effectively. He said that the expected changes have been achieved to some extent… but he felt that improvements need to be made in more areas. The CM suggested that each government department should periodically review the results they have achieved. He said that they are conducting a conference of collectors once every three months and analyzing the GSDP. He said that the Swarnandhra 2047 vision has been formulated on the path of 2047 Vikasith Bharat. He revealed that per capita income and GSDP targets have been set. He said that 19 SIPB meetings and 57 cabinet meetings have been held so far. He said that industrialists lost confidence in AP during the previous regime. But that situation has been restored.. AP has again emerged as the most preferred destination. He said that investments are coming to the state in large quantities.. thereby providing wide employment opportunities.

The Chief Minister clarified that the government’s goal is to utilize resources efficiently. He said that they are planning to make AP, which is an agriculturally based state, a leader in industry. He said that there are immense opportunities in different sectors like horticulture crops, mineral resources in Rayalaseema, and aqua in coastal districts. He said that plans have been made to add value to valuable resources including rare earth minerals, silica, and Cheemakurti granite. He said that there is an opportunity to achieve better results through innovation. He said, ‘We have the technology, resources, and knowledge. We need leadership to embrace it.’ He said that although bringing policies is easy, implementing them is the most crucial. He said that from now on, it has been decided to move forward through monthly financial reports. CM Chandrababu Naidu said that we should review the progress by holding a meeting of secretaries and HODs once a month.
