New Delhi : The Central Government’s anti-paper leak bill, which aims to stop exam question paper leaks, was approved by the Lok Sabha. The House passed the bill by voice vote after deliberation. The opposition’s suggested revisions to the bill were rejected. The law includes measures for harshly punishing individuals who engage in exam misconduct and paper leaks. According to the government, the measure intends to protect applicants’ interests and improve openness in the administration of competitive exams across the country. Speaker Om Birla postponed the Lok Sabha sessions until Thursday after this anti-paper leak measure was passed. The bill is intended to punish those found guilty in a paper leak case with up to ten years in prison and a fine of up to ten crores.
