Amaravati : Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said that no one expected success in 2024. On Tuesday, the CM released a white paper on the economic situation of AP. The CM, who released facts on the conditions of 2024 and the current conditions, said that this presentation is a report given by a responsible government. He said that if the governments work efficiently and governance is good, it will have an impact on the people. He said that a silent revolution came among the people in 2024. He said that similar results were seen in 1982, 1994, and most recently in 2024. He said that a 94 percent strike rate was achieved in 2024… it was an unexpected revolution. He said that after the division of the state, AP became an agricultural state. He said that 58 percent of the people got only 46 percent of the resources. He said that both the states were developed jointly. Chandrababu said that NITI Aayog had said that AP would have zero debt sustainability in 2023-24. The reason for this was not making capital investment. He was angry that government assets were mortgaged. The future income of liquor was pledged. He accused central schemes of diverting funds as the debt was not incurred. He said that Rs.48616 crore pending bills were reduced to Rs.29,259 crore. He said that 86 centrally sponsored schemes were revived. He said that Rs.45,138 crore was spent under centrally sponsored schemes. The CM said that even though local bodies received Finance Commission grants, they were diverted. They have also been corrected. He said that Rs.49,401 crore has been spent on welfare so far. He was angry that people are picking feathers on chicken eggs in the case of Mega DSC. They said that priority has been given to the allocation of liquor shops and mines. CM Chandrababu said that great priority is being given to the welfare of minorities.
