AP High Court refuses to intervene in Mega DSC PIL

Amaravati : The Andhra Pradesh High Court has refused to intervene in the PIL filed by YSRCP MLC Parvathareddy Chandrasekhar Reddy seeking a CBI probe into Mega DSC 2025. It questioned why the candidates who lost due to sports quota are not appearing in court directly. It said it could not agree with the argument that the aggrieved candidates are afraid to approach the court directly. The High Court said that 335 petitions have been filed so far challenging the Mega DSC notification and appointments. The AP High Court opined that a public interest litigation is a very valuable tool. It warned that if it is allowed to be used for political purposes, the purpose of the PIL will be damaged. Will the arguments on this PIL continue? Will it be withdrawn? The court suggested that the petitioner should take instructions from the petitioner and come before it. The court informed the senior counsel for YSRCP MLC Parvathareddy Chandrasekhar Reddy to this extent. It is known that Chandrasekhar Reddy filed a PIL in the High Court seeking an order for a CBI investigation into Mega DSC 2025.
