AP Cabinet approves 47-storey twin towers in Amaravati

Amaravati : The AP Cabinet meeting was held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. Minister Parthasarathy explained the decisions taken in the meeting to the media. He said that the Cabinet has given the green signal for the transfer of 19.55 acres in Yedula Musturu to APIIC. He said that the Cabinet has approved the transfer of 13.45 acres in Timmasamudram to CUDA. He said that the Cabinet has agreed to the reorganization of UDAs in accordance with the new districts and a decision has been taken to increase the number of UDAs from 21 to 23. He said that the Cabinet has given its approval for water supply to the industrial cluster from Kandaleru.

The Minister said that a decision has been taken to regularize the UDS rights of the residents of Vijayawada Auto Nagar Colony. He said that a solution has been given in the Cabinet to the land issue of 400 housing units. He said that CM Chandrababu has issued orders for the resolution of pending land disputes across the state. It was revealed that the revised tenders for the Amaravati ‘I’ project have been approved. The Cabinet has agreed to provide special incentives for the construction of the high-rise Amaravati Eye. Parthasarathy clarified that the Omnibus Act, 2026 has been brought for Ease of Doing Business, and the Omnibus Act aims to remove obstacles to investment. He said that special compensation will be provided for the acquisition of Kuppam Greenfield Airport land.

He said that the Cabinet has agreed to provide compensation of Rs. 12.44 lakh per acre to cultivators without D-Form. He said that approval has been given for the construction of 47-storey twin towers in Amaravati, and a decision has been taken to provide opportunities to corporate and quantum companies in the twin towers. He said that the Cabinet has given the green signal to the proposal for the redesign of the High Court building. He said that the AP PPP Policy-2026 has been approved by the Cabinet. He revealed that the Cabinet meeting decided to provide Rs. 1,500 crore in viability gap funding for PPP projects. He said that the new PPP policy aims to attract large investments. He said that land pooling of 2,344 acres in Motadaka has been approved. Minister Parthasarathy said that the Cabinet has approved the land pooling for the high-speed rail and Inner Ring Road.
