Amaravati : CM Chandrababu Naidu has ordered top officials to take strict action against the accused in the incident where a medico was hit by a vehicle in Rajahmundry. He inquired about the incident at the Secretariat on Friday. CM Chandrababu Naidu asked top officials about the health condition of the injured medicos Priyanka and Umesh. He said that it is sad that the medicos were seriously injured. Officials explained to the CM how the incident happened. They said that two medicos hit the car while drunk and then fled. Officials told the CM that the accused were immediately arrested. He ordered that strict action be taken to punish the accused. CM Chandrababu made it clear to them that those who did wrong should not be ignored under any circumstances. He advised the officials to constantly monitor the health condition of medico Priyanka. CM Chandrababu Naidu ordered that steps be taken to provide them with the necessary medical assistance.


On Wednesday night, two youths went to Prasad Aditya Mall in Rajahmundry in a drunken state. Seeing their condition, the mall staff tested them with a breath analyzer and did not allow them to enter the mall. They got angry with the mall staff. They let the car go faster. At the same time, they hit the scooty that was going in front of the gate with their car. They hit the scooty again at overspeed. As a result, the medico behind the scooty fell down. Due to this, she was seriously injured.
For the third time, they let the car go over her head at the same speed and went ahead. As a result, she became brain dead. She is currently receiving treatment in the ICU. Her friend Umesh, who was driving the scooty, was also seriously injured. The police registered a case and investigated the incident and arrested two accused. The accused are from Namavaram near Rajahmundry, the police said. Priyanka, who is brain dead, is studying PG at GSL Medical College in Rajahmundry. It is known that Priyanka has been shifted to Hyderabad for better medical treatment.
