BJP’s new executive committee- Key positions for youth and women

New Delhi : The new party executive committee will be formed under the leadership of BJP national president Nitin Nabin with the aim of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. In the wake of the CJP agitations, there are clear opportunities to give key positions to youth and women. The new team will be announced on Monday. It is known that some central ministers will also be included in it. It is reported that the new executive committee has been formed keeping in mind the 2029 general elections as well as the assembly elections next year in UP, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Goa (February-March), Gujarat, Manipur, and Himachal Pradesh (November-December). BJP sources have revealed that Prime Minister Modi will also reorganize the central cabinet once the new executive committee is announced. Nabin, who took over as national president in January this year, has been working extensively with top leaders to form a new team. Union Home Minister Amit Shah held extensive discussions with several Union ministers and senior BJP leaders on the national executive. In fact, there were reports that the cabinet reshuffle and the announcement of a new national executive would take place after the Rajya Sabha elections in June. However, it was postponed in the wake of protests by the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) and students over the NEET exam paper leaks. The BJP’s defeat in the Bankipur Assembly by-election in Bihar, which fell vacant after Nabeen’s resignation, came as a huge shock to the party leaders. Political analysts have said that losing a seat that it has been winning consistently for 30 years, namely the seat represented by the national president, is an indicator of future political changes. In this context, the BJP leadership has already conducted an in-depth review. As elections are due to be held in key states next year, BJP sources said that the new executive will sharpen appropriate strategies to prepare the party for it. It said that new vice presidents, general secretaries, secretaries, national spokespersons, and heads of various fronts will be announced.
