Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu made a key announcement on the Veligonda project. He said that the Veligonda project will be inaugurated on the 31st of this month. He said that the resolve he took 30 years ago is now being fulfilled. To this extent, CM Chandrababu shared his feelings on Tuesday through the ‘X’ platform. He tweeted, “Veligonda watercourses – wings for development.” He also attached a photo of himself laying the foundation stone of the Veligonda project 30 years ago.

Chandrababu said that his intention is to provide water to every farmer’s field, provide employment to every youth and provide security to every family. He expressed hope that the Veligonda project will solve the irrigation and drinking water problems of the West Prakasam region. The CM also said that drinking water will be provided to the people of West Prakasam district through taps and a permanent solution to the fluoride problem will be provided to every household. CM Chandrababu said that with the launch of the Veligonda project, the development of this region will get a further boost.
